About the Course

Kinesics Training Course 1 provides theoretical and practical knowledge on the foundational corrective exercises that lead to higher levels of movement, equipping the professional with the knowledge needed to properly instruct and effectively institute a corrective exercise-based program. This course centers around rehabilitative-based concepts and corrective / therapy-based exercises, which not only gives the professional the what and how behind each exercise module, but provides the WHY for addressing restrictions, deviations, and compensations that occur in more advanced performance-based programs.

Learners can use this as a stand-alone course or in conjunction with our Kinesics Training Course 2: Integrated Cable Based Training

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Explain the theory and concepts behind open chain, isolated, foundational, and corrective exercises

  • Summarize the foundational neuromuscular principles of muscle and joint interaction

  • Defend the anatomical basis for identifying compensation in stability, posture, and movement

  • Design a foundational corrective exercise program

  • Demonstrate corrective exercises properly

  • Select exercises with intention and specifically for each individual participant

  • Organize programs with appropriate modifications, progressions, and contraindications for exercises in all five functional movement patterns

  • Cue and instruct the participant for all recommended exercise modules

  • Classify imbalances within the human movement systems and design scientifically valid corrective exercise programs
